Once more the Son of Satan was in a battle with himself. Once more there was nowhere else to turn but the monastery in which he spent his youth. Perhaps it would have been better if he had never left. ( Not long ago he had the choice to return to the monastic life forever but instead he had chosen the other sacred path, marriage. )

There had been no indication that the exorcism would be anything but ordinary, if there exorcisms could be considered ordinary. The notes he had taken from the phone call suggested it was a low powered demon, a nuisance to him but a nightmare for the family.
